Who We Are
The Hogo Company has been producing commercial apps since 1999, with the development and release of two "Coconut Monkey" games for PC Gamer magazine. In 2011, our puzzle game Hogoword became one of the most popular apps available for the still relatively-new Roku streaming boxes. Since then, we have continued to develop both commercial and free games for PC, Android, iOS, and the web.
Hogo Company employees also have a long history of service to NASA missions, beginning in 2004 following the launch of NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope. For the past two decades, we have developed numerous public outreach and education web products for a multitude of NASA missions including Spitzer, the exoplanet-hunting Kepler Space Telescope, and the asteroid-hunting NEOWISE space observatory.
What We Do
Our company's passion is to create interactive apps and games that entertain the public.
With our background in both science and app development, we believe we are uniquely positioned to produce interactive educational content in the area of astrophysics. Space science can be very complex. One of our goals is to develop apps that can make it more accessible and engaging.
We also look to produce casual games that are easy to learn, original, and fun.
